Citrate is an important metabolite involved in the Krebs cycle and is commonly used as a biological indicator or anticoagulant in biomedical, biochemical and pharmaceutical applications. Many analytical methods have been developed to quantify citrate in biological samples, including enzymatic photometric methods, non-enzymatic photometric methods, chromatography, and classical chemical methods. This article summarizes and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the most common methods, thereby proposing appropriate technical choices depending on the research objectives and sample characteristics. The method used in the study is the method of statistical collection and synthesis analysis
