Abstract

The Viral Transport Medium produced at the National Institute for Control of Vaccines and Biologicals that is used in the test to detect SARS-CoV-2 complies with TCVN ISO 13485: 2017/ ISO 13485: 2016 on medical devices. We carry out a study on the stability of the VTM in different conditions and times in order to ensure the VTM's quality. The study showed that the VTM meets the sensory, volume, pH, sterility, and viral preservation criteria when stored for 48 hours at 30±2˚C and for six months at 2-8˚C.
