A descriptive study was conducted on 761 infertile women aged 18 - 52 at the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2020 to 2021 in order to identify factors related to C. trachomatis infection in infertile women. The results showed that 119 women were identified to be infected with C. trachomatis. Factors related to genital C. trachomatis infection in infertile women included history of ectopic pregnancy (OR = 3.03; 95%CI: 1.03 - 8.91), having sex before the age of 18 (OR = 2.47; 95%CI: 1.29 - 4.73), having sex with many people (OR = 1.93; 95%CI: 1.05 - 3.57), increased vaginal discharge (OR = 2.58; 95%CI: 1.38-4.81), cervicitis (OR = 20.09; 95%CI: 10.08-40.03) and lower abdominal pain (OR = 5.61; 95%CI: 3.06-10.31). There should be screening measures for C. trachomatis infection before performing interventions for infertility.
