Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming healthcare, particularly in the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes. This review examines the emerging role of AI-powered apps in glucose management, using sophisticated algorithms to analyze data from multiple sources, including continuous glucose monitors, and provide personalized insights. These apps offer benefits such as improved glucose management, increased personalization, and greater convenience. The review also addresses current challenges, including data accuracy, algorithm transparency, regulatory issues, and accessibility, while highlighting potential future advances in this growing field.
