Control of Mycoplasma in cell culture used in testing is necessary to ensure the accuracy of quality control and vaccine release. Research on fluorescent dyeing process using Mycoplasma detection cell indicators to develop standard operating procedures before routinely used at National Institute for Control of Vaccines and Biologicals (NICVB). Outcome showed that the parameters of the Mycoplasma detection procedure by the Vero cell indicator method using the MycoFlourTM kit at NICVB were optimized for the concentration of Vero cells inoculated into coverslip 10 x104 TB/ml; Wash cells twice with PBS (-)1X and meet the requirements for specificity in cell quality assessment.
