Journal Mission and Objectives

• Institutional Information: Providing updates and information regarding the activities of the National Institute for Control of Vaccines and Biologicals (NICVB).
• Scientific Publication: Periodically publishing in-depth scientific information, original research results, and exchanges of experience in training, capacity building, and technical guidance within the field of vaccine and biologicals control.

Scope of the Journal

The Journal considers original manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere, covering the following areas:

• Scientific Research: Studies related to the quality control of vaccines and biological products both domestically and globally.
• Safety and Efficacy Surveillance: Research on the monitoring and evaluation of safety, immunogenicity, and the effectiveness of vaccines and biological products in the community.
• R&D and Clinical Trials: Research on potential developments and clinical trials of vaccines and biologicals in laboratory and community settings.
• Product Innovation and Diagnostics: Development of new vaccine and biological products; application of novel methods/techniques in screening and diagnosis for infectious disease prevention; post-market surveillance and quality control of products throughout the national regulatory system.
• Inter-Laboratory Collaboration: International and domestic collaborative research on research technology; establishment of international, regional, and national reference standards; and the validation of technical standards for domestically manufactured and imported products prior to market authorization.
• Health Management and Quality Systems: Integrated reports on health management (including technology, healthcare processes, pharmaceuticals, health information systems, and service delivery models); quality management systems for National Regulatory Authorities (NRA); and risk management analysis in the control and release of vaccines and biologicals globally.
• Biomedical Science and Technology Transfer: Scientific methodologies and results in the field of biomedicine, including international technical transfer and cooperation.
• NICVB Operational Updates: Publication of original research, review articles, documents, and events related to all aspects of biomedical research associated with the organizational regulations and activities of the National Institute for Control of Vaccines and Biologicals.

General Policy

• All submitted manuscripts must fall within the scope of the Journal and must not have been previously published in any other domestic or international journals or publications.
